Browns Running Back, Reuben Droughns, No Longer Running From The Law

Reuben Droughns, the Cleveland Browns running back, has had his share of ups and downs; unfortunately his downs have by far out weighed his ups as of late. November 1st he was charged with DUI, and traveling at speeds of 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. Droughns was indeed acquitted of the charges, yet he finds himself in the hot seat again. This time around he has moved his field to Domestic Violence.

Droughns latest escapade was stretched out, as he was no longer at the location, by the time the Sheriffs arrived. Droughns did however, surrender to the authorities on Wednesday evening, and spent an evening in jail awaiting a court hearing on the following Thursday morning. There has been no press release on the true nature of the charge nor has there been a statement about the possible outcome.

It is known that he was charged with a third degree assault and harassment, which is only a misdemeanor offence. The surrender can after there was an open communication between the Sheriff
