Hurricanes, Evacuation and Obesity Dilemma

There is a huge with obesity in the United States of America and it is running rampant and these types of issues cause severe problems during hurricane evacuations in those areas most prone to hurricanes. Many leaving town are unable to take the people who are obese. This may sound rather unfair and unfortunate and whereas sometimes they can find a way to take them via specially transportation, we know this costs the taxpayer many dollars and generally prevents other regular people from the ride they need to get out of the area.

There never seems to be enough seats and one seat filled with a very obese individual in the back could take five additional seats for people and this means we're saving one obese person in trade for five people who have watched their weight, exercised and stayed healthy throughout their adult life. This is why hurricanes and evacuations are riddled with this obesity dilemma.

The problem of obesity does not stop there. Once the obese person is transported out of the area then they must find a hotel room, which they can get through the door or they need to be taken to hospital, which is set up for people are overweight in the neighborhood of 1000 pounds.

You might be surprised as to how many people there are who weigh this much and how many truly extremely obese people live in our society. Normally you do not see them because they're not out and about and around every day, but it use a huge problem and it is very hard to move them around. Consider this in 2006.
