How To Have Fun At Your Wedding

Weddings are a wonderful time. For you, the bride and groom, it is a time to celebrate love and finding the person with whom you will live happily ever after. For your family, this may be a chance to renew ties and have a reunion. For your friends, it's a chance to party! It is an exciting and happy time for everyone.

The reception is meant to be a time to let the joy sill over so why not plan some activities and entertainment to make it even more fun. For example, in some countries, the single ladies avoid catching the bouquet so the bride doesn't do the bouquet toss. The ladies are all gathered and asked to form a ring and a bunch of flowers, usually roses, are passed around in time to music. When the song is stopped, the ladies are asked to check if their flower is the one with a special tag or marking. That lady is given the bouquet.

For couples who love to dance, why not have a really good big band play. It's wonderful to have musicians who can croon you the sweetest love songs and who can also get everyone's feet tapping to the beat. Your wedding planner is sure to have a list of performers who can get your guests in the mood.

You may also have some family traditions that can keep the celebration swinging. Bring out those dances that can be easily taught and will be a new experience for some of the guests. Reels and line dances are fun to watch and even more enjoyable to do. Get everyone into the groove!
