Because making money as a home based marketing consultant is often fast and easy for most people -- even people without a lot of experience or start up money -- there tends to be a lot of people who want to "copy cat" what you're doing so they can join in on the good times without doing the work.

In fact, regardless of copyright, trademark and other intellectual property notices, if you develop a marketable new concept or twist for making money as a home based marketing consultant (and you probably will when you get into it), and if enough people find out about it, then there will be people (usually online) who will try to rip it off within nanoseconds.

Is this something you should be alarmed about? Does this mean you need to have an "attack dog" lawyer on retainer to take care of the cheats and crooks?

Not at all.

Because all you have to do to prevent something like that from happening -- and it probably will happen eventually as you make money -- is to simply individualize your business.

By that I mean interject you, your voice, your personality, your credibility, your background into everything you do.

When you do that, you completely foil the knock-offs, because try as they might, nobody can become another "you."

I have seen this happen more times than I can count -- even with my own marketing consulting home study system.

But it's nothing to worry about at all.

Because people can read about and use everything you do and say, but if they can't implement what you do and say...then they're dead in the water anyway. They will have a career of three weeks and be finished. You can only fake it so far in this business. Which is ironic, because it doesn't take a whole lot of work to make things happen as a home based marketing consultant anyway.
