Overcoming Depression

Are you looking to over come depression in your life? Are you worried your less than positive outlook on life and how this might hurt your future career, family life or forward social status or advancement? Is depression getting you down?

Are you concerned with how this depression will affect your ability to maintain all you have and have worked for? Are you looking for ways to bring happiness into your life? Do you struggle with mood swings that put you into a negative bio-feedback loop, which takes days to get out of? If so then you need to find a way to delete depression and make happiness a habit.

One of the best ways to over come mild depression would be to take a sheet of paper and put a line down the center and write 5 challenges you currently face, which you believe to be at least some of the causes of your depression. Next on the other side write 12 things that are great about your life.

You see you have more good things then bad things. And if you cannot list five horrible things then make up one from friend who is going thru a crisis and put it on your sheet instead. See, even adding a fake one, still you have way more good things then bad things; so life cannot be all that bad can it.

Well this is how you get over depression. Too silly to contemplate; okay do not do it then, just sit there depressed after all you have the right to feel like crap right? Sure, go ahead no one is stopping you; but be sure to write on that sheet; Freedom to feel anyway you want to, as it is totally your choice. Consider this in 2006.
