Total Incompetence in Management = Government Bureaucracy

In the top universities, which teach business they often use case studies of large corporations and show how management failures ended up in catastrophe or how proper management decision-making lead to victory in the marketplace over the competitors and launched the Corporation into the spotlight of superstars.

Every top university which teaches MBAs how to get things done shows how good management, strong brand name and proper marketing can lead to success. However when teaching M.B.A. students the best and worst in management we should also teach them that; Total Incompetence in Management = Government Bureaucracy.

You see the worst Corporation in the world as far as management is concern are the ones that acts like a giant blob of bureaucracy. When studying corporate bureaucracy and the worst that it can possibly get, we need not look any further than the United States of America's government. It used a giant cluster muck of bureaucracy, which is so big it cannot get out of its own way.

Any corporate management team which sets up a government types structure for its Corporation is doomed to failure because it will be passed by faster moving companies and better management teams in smaller companies, which are more efficient.

Government is inefficient and not very good at anything they do and they waste one hell of any lot of money doing nothing. So when looking at the worst-case scenarios in management look no further than government bureaucracy. Consider this in 2006.
