Senators Neglecting Research Expenditures Want to See US Lose World Ranking

The United States Senate is neglecting research funding in many key areas and although some progress has been made on the presidency initiatives for alternative energy sources and other new technologies, the United States Senate is falling behind in proposing new legislation and funding allocations in research.

If the United States of America and the United States Senate fails or neglects to fund the necessary monies to research then the United States will lose its U.S. world ranking for being the most technological advance civilization on the surface of the planet. There can be no excuse for failures to fund research. We owe it to past periods and future periods to invest in the present period.

Everyone who is in business knows that if you invest in research and development and push and strive towards a goal then human intent and will along with proper funding will achieve that goal. If we can put men on the moon imagine what we can do today if we seriously put our minds and monies towards such a goal.

To neglect research expenditures at this juncture is future economic suicide. If we fail to invest this money we are giving away our No. 1 ranking and we deserve to lose it if we cannot see the forest for the trees. Please consider all this in 2006.
