Trenton, New Jersey Floods Before the Flood

The Delaware River has crested in some parts of Trenton NJ and this is causing severe flood damage and causing folks to have to evacuate. The wicked weather is not all over for people in Trenton NJ and there is more bad weather and precipitation on its way, while the tributaries leading to the Delaware River continue to pump more and more water comes in, as the runoff reaches that region.

In some areas there was more rain than during Hurricane Agnes. This is unfortunate for those living in Trenton NJ however, not as bad as for some of the people who live in Pennsylvania and upstate New York who had even more flood waters. New Jersey is No stranger to flooding; last year NJ flooded also very badly, as Trenton NJ along the Delaware River seen the worst yet?

Some fear it is not done yet and there is more to follow. At the beginning of next week there is another big storm coming that is making its way across the country now and it too will bring more water to it already flooded Delaware River.

Over 200,000 people were evacuated in Pennsylvania and thousands of people were evacuated in Maryland, Washington D.C., a Virginia beyond the state of Delaware. The Northeast has seen a tremendous amount of rainfall and flooding in the last week and it may be far from over. Please consider this in 2006.
