Classified Ad Sites
I started to look at classified web sites after using auction
sites such as Ebay and becoming disillusioned with there hidden
charges and short listing times. Now this is not another attempt
to knock Ebay, some people make a good living out of Ebay and
some get hit. The problem I have found with auction sites is
that they grab your attention with the graphics and the hype but
then the content lets you down. It's a bit like seeing a hot
steaming pie crust only to dig your fork in and see it deflate
down and then cut it open to find no filling. I knew there had
to be another way to get products, services and sites noticed.
Not rocket science after all type in a search criteria to any of
the many search engines and you find what you want. Not so
because I didn't really know what format of advertising I was
looking for. Then a local paper dropped through the door and I
spotted The Classified's, the penny dropped. I started to search
for classified ad sites and came up with any number of
alternatives. Unfortunately most were trying to copy Ebay and
had the same look, feel and charging policies. I then started to
deeper and found a number of good sites offering basically a
space to place text and photo's at very differing prices. Some
start free but charge a percentage, some charge a basic fee, but
there are very few totally free sites. Rather than put the
details in this article I prefer to send people the list I have
compiled for free, no tricks, no marketing hype or sales
pitches. So if you contact me at admin@sellitbuyitswapit.com you
can get the list at no charge.
