Dr. Laura's Mom

Well just before New Years or Christmas we got the news that the mom of Dr. Laura had been killed. I do think there are things we can learn from this sad event.
So have you hugged your kid or kids today?

Did you tell your parents that you love them and thank them for all they do for you?

Have you been able through a note, phone call, email, or some other way to show a sibling, grand parent or friend that you care? Well, parents have you gotten upset with your child because of the color of their hair, or them spilling the milk or some other little thing?

Here is some news that might make you rethink what you have done or are not doing.

A little before Christmas or before New Years the news came out that Dr. Laura's mom had been found dead. The police have called it murder. Lets hope that the killer is found soon.

Dr. Laura in a statement said that she was shocked and horrified that her mom would have that happen to her.

Dr. Laura and her mom did not have a relationship which is sad. Dr. Laura said one of the reasons she is so committed to helping kids and standing up for the family and family values is she was not blessed to grow up in a loving family. Her dad is dead and her parents were divorced.

Dr. Laura said her mom and her did not have a relationship which was her mom's choice. Now we do not know what her mom's side is to that but I do think we can learn some stuff from this sad event and that is do your best to keep in touch with others.

Also tell and show those you care about that you love them no matter what.

No matter your spiritual faith is or what you think of Dr. Laura and her views pray for her.
