FORTY FOUR FATAL YEARS... OVER FIVE MILLION DEAD
Forty four years ago on 7th March 1962 the Royal College of
Physicians (RCP) warned the government of the day about the
dangers of tobacco-related death and disease by publishing its
ground breaking report 'Smoking and Health'. Since that time
over five million premature deaths have occurred in Britain as a
result of smoking. Even today 114,000 people die each year from
smoking in the UK that's more than 300 daily!
With the dangers of smoking and passive smoking widely
publicised together with the governments efforts to ban smoking
in public places more than 60% of smokers in the UK want to stop
but can't. There are a variety of products available now to help
you stop smoking from nicotine replacement products; CD's
offering hypnosis, acupuncture and the age old sheer will power.
However only the CD's have the highest success rate and that is
only 30%.
So what is the answer? Hypnotherapy has been scientifically
proven to be the most effective method of stopping smoking with
a success rate of over 60%. This was proven by the largest ever
scientific study conducted. The report went on to say "Hypnosis
is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the
largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the
habit". (Source: New Scientist, volume 136, issue 1845, 31 Oct
92).
How Hypnosis can help you to quit smoking? Smoking is clearly a
totally irrational behaviour; there can be no logical reason for
doing it. Because the act of smoking is initially so difficult
(remember that first cigarette?), most smokers had to 'teach'
themselves to smoke, and having done that and found themselves
to be addicted, find that if they stop they feel irritable,
insecure and upset; finding it impossible to quit smoking.
Hypnotherapy offers suggestion therapy to stop smoking that
takes just one 90 minute session, directed at improving the
motivation to quit smoking, reversing those erroneous beliefs
about smoking, and providing additional psychological benefits
for quitting.
Speaking about Hypnotherapy offered by Amatsuhealth, founder
Sukh Padda said:
"Hypnotherapy has been proven to be the most effective method of
stopping smoking for those who genuinely want to stop. However
once you have stopped what about the physical effects of all
those years of smoking left upon your body? Its true that the
body begins to self heal within 20mins of stopping but this
process can be greatly enhanced. At Amatsuhealth in addition to
helping you to stop smoking through hypnotherapy in addition we
also offer you a unique 5,000 year old integrated Japanese
therapy known as Amatsu Medicine. This provides a complete
balance of you whole body and works to drastically diminish the
effects of smoking from your body".
