How Can You Use Pain For Your Benefit?
Pain is defined in the dictionary as a symptom of some physical
hurt or disorder, emotional distress; a fundamental feeling that
people try to avoid, annoyance: something or someone that causes
trouble; a source of unhappiness.
People experience many different types of pain. I have heard
several times from my clients that they are far more able to
handle the physical pain then the mental or emotional pain.
However, it does not matter what pain we are presented with,
whether it be emotional distress, avoidance, depression, lack or
loss of someone who was close to us or spiritual disconnection;
there is an opportunity for transformation.
Whatever pain we have, especially the one that keeps
re-occurring, is trying to teach us about ourselves. This pain
is there to bring our awareness to the areas in our lives which
we have been either avoiding or suppressing.
