Viagra vs. fake Viagra
The phenomenal success and popularity achieved by Viagra have inspired
people to make money by producing the fake version of the sex
enhancing drug from Pfizer. In recent times, the instance of
counterfeit Viagra has happened in places such as Kenya, China,
the US and many other places. As a fastest selling drug in the
developed world, Viagra requires no introduction and due to its
gigantic popularity, its fake versions are also selling like hot
cakes.
Since the introduction of Pfizer's erectile dysfunction (ED)
drug Viagra in 1998, it has been the most-talked-about
prescription drug since the birth-control pill. Although some of
its thunder has been stolen by new entrants in the market like
Levitra and Cialis, the name Viagra remains synonymous with
sex-enhancing medicines and its popularity is on a rise with
each passing day. Due to this factor, its fake versions are also
doing well in the market.
One of the main reasons behind the emergence of fake Viagra is
that the branded version of Viagra is too expensive for most
would-be users. The high price makes the ED sufferers opt for
the cheaper versions, some of them generics and most of them of
unknown quality, performance and even safety. Various drug
manufacturers and counterfeiters jostle to cash in on its fame
by producing harmful versions.
Although Viagra was developed to treat a health problem - erectile dysfunction and
it was mainly targeted for men over 40 but it has made its way
into the hearts of very young studs. It is now more of a fad
than anything else. In some part of this world, Viagra is used
as a recreational drug especially by youngsters. This sort of
Viagra misuse and abuse is strictly not recommended.
So, always use Viagra for combating erectile dysfunction for
leading a fruitful sexual life.
