What sport are we talking about here?
Baseball, well if were talking about baseball that ought to be
Sammy Sosa. Sammy Sosa was born poor in the Dominican Republic.
His father died at 7 years old and he had to shine shoes to
support the family. The only two other stars in his league are
Babe Ruth and Big Mac Mark McGwire. Sammy was a skinny and
malnourished boy. He got a late start in baseball. He never
picked up a real bat until he was14 years old. He had used
homemade bats made of tree branches until that point.
Basketball, that's a great sport for my money at only 6 feet
tall I would name Iverson. Pound for pound the best player in
the world. The baddest and boldest, too. I am amazed out how
small he is for basketball yet achieves phenomenal success.
Football, you tell me. I think we could debate about football
greats for hours. Joe Montana, Otto Graham, or Johnny Unitas at
quarterback? Jerry Rice and Don Hutson or Steve Largent at wide
receiver? Mike Ditka or John Mackey at tight end?
