Dry Cracked Hands
It's the cold and flu season, and health care professionals
recommend washing your hands frequently to avoid getting ill.
But you may find that, by doing this, your hands tend to get
really dry and cracked.
You have to be sure to moisturize. Be careful when selecting a
lotion because many that contain alcohol will only aggravate the
problem. There are products on the market that work quite well.
You just need to carefully read the ingredients when making your
selection. You may want to select the trial size containers at
first to determine which products work best for you.
You should apply lotion to your hands at least twice a day.
Also, you may want to refrain from using antibacterial hand
soap. The antibacterial soap may irritate dry hands, and your
hands will be just as clean with a fragrance-free moisturizing
hand soap.
