Chitty Chitty Bang Band Broadway Review
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Review
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang opened at the Hilton Theatre on Broadway
April 28, 2005 with a large commercial advertising campaign and
press release. The story is based in London and tells the story
of a family whose father is a sort of mad inventor. He invents a
flying car and goes on adventures with the family all the while
being taunted and chased by an evil baron and Baroness.
The production is based on the 1968 Disney classic of the same
name. Filled with high production values and a musical score by
Sherman Brothers, including such songs as "Toot Sweets" and
"Hushabye Mountain," which supply memorable sing along songs
that the whole family will enjoy.
The show has been a hit for Broadway and is a great show to
bring the family to, with a fun and adventures storyline, great
musical score and production which will have the children of the
family singing and in wonder of the flying car chases. With
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Theater tickets averaging about eighty
dollars for seating, the show offers an inexpensive night out
for the whole family in the Big Apple.
