Create an Outdoor Theatre

Everybody likes a family movie night. Now imagine having a family movie night in your own back yard! When the summer heat is on, its often too hot in the house to relax. When you have a personal theatre outdoors, you can relax at night time in the cool air as well as feel like you're going on a mini vacation. By following these instructions you can be on you're way to creating your own outdoor theatre. The first thing you will need is a screen. You can use a large white sheet as you're screen and hang it on the clothes line, or anywhere else you can find. Remember to fasten the sheet at the top as well as the bottom so your movie isn't disturbed by any wind. If you find using a sheet too difficult or time consuming, you can also purchase a free standing projection screen which will provide a higher quality picture. Buying one of these, will of course cost you more money, so it might not be a wise choice if you are on a budget. Now that you've got you're screen set up, you will want to watch a movie on it. First you are going to have to purchase a video projector. These can be pricey, but it is possible to find discount ones that will do a reasonable job. Try looking in the bargain finder for something cheaper if you are on a budget. To see a movie on your screen, you are going to need a DVD player. In order to avoid the hassle of disconnecting your home DVD player, you can purchase a simple new one. Nowadays, those sell for about one hundred dollars or less, which won't be too much of a strain on you're pocket. Or, if you have a laptop computer with a DVD feature, you can use this as well. For sound, you will need a simple stereo amplifier which you could find from an old stereo system that was used in you're house previously. As for speakers, it is up to you. Two simple floor speakers will work fine, but some people prefer to add more expensive ones or surround sound. Now you will have to plug in your equipment by using a heavy duty extension cord with three or four outlets. Then all you have to do is plug your extension cord into the power outlet and plug your DVD, speakers and amplifier in. You should use the appropriate wires and cords for hooking all of your outdoor theatre components together. Once you have you're theatre set up, sit back, relax, make some food and enjoy your own personal outdoor theatre. http://www.house-lamps-galore.info
