SETTING THE SCENE
You've set a date, cleared out the kids (if you have some), and
you're getting ready for an evening of swinging. Maybe you've
decided to meet at your place for the fun. But what can you do
to get ready?
Get Rid Of All The Distractions
There's nothing worse than the phone ringing or a knock at the
door when you're in the middle of enjoying some private time.
So when you're starting to swing, you want to make sure that
these things do not happen. Turn off the phone, hide the
cellular phones, turn the lights down in the front of the house,
and dim the lights throughout the house.
This is your time and your time only. If you're concerned about
your children, then set up some way for someone to get a hold of
you--but only in an extreme emergency.
If you have pets, you will want to put them into a separate room
for the evening, making sure that all of their needs have
already be attended to.
Mood Enhancers
When it comes to seduction, you can never do too much.
Dim the lights and set candles all around. If you're a nervous
person, then make sure that all of the candles are in fireproof
containers so that they can burn out on their own, in case the
festivities move elsewhere.
Turn on quiet music--something calm and instrumental is best.
You may want to ask the other couple what they like to make is
comfortable.
Make sure the house smells good. This sounds silly, but a little
spray of sandalwood or rose freshener can make the scene all the
more inviting.
Perhaps the group has decided that they want to watch some
erotic movies in order to get in the mood. Have television
ready, as well as comfortable areas to sit.
Comfort Counts
If you're getting ready for an evening that may take place in
more than one room, you will want to make sure that you are
prepared. Have protection available in any of the open rooms, as
well as pillows, blankets, and any other previously discussed
accoutrements.
You don't want to have to stop anything in order to get up and
get something. At the very least, tell the other couple where to
find things, should they need them.
Getting Everyone Involved
Before the evening begins, you should discuss among the groups
things that everyone wants to have on hand. You may also plan on
certain people bringing certain things in order to involve
everyone in some way.
Perhaps someone can bring fruits to nibble on throughout the
night, or another can bring massage oils. If everyone has
something that they recognize there, then it can make for a more
pleasant evening.
The one thing that you do not want to rely on for someone else
to bring is protection of the sexual sort. Of course, you will
probably feel very trusting of the other couple, and they will
most likely bring what is asked.
