Will my programs work for you?
Will my associate program's work for you?
You must understand that joining a program doesn't guarantee you
success, just as buying a franchise doesn't guarantee success.
It means you're starting a business.
For those of you who have just joined a program or have been
members for many months,
YOU OWN A BUSINESS NOW!
Many don't treat this event with the importance that it
deserves. They figure it's like rolling the dice at Vegas or
buying a lottery ticket; consequently they get little out of it.
When they don't hit it big in their fleeting attempt, then they
go somewhere else and try again. Because of this attitude, they
get the same results at each consecutive stop.
You must treat your opportunity as you would a traditional
business.
You wouldn't spend $100,000 or more on a franchise and then not
work the business, would you? Then why do it with your network
marketing business?
There has been no need to acquire investors, no need to put
your house up for collateral. Too frequently, with no or little
investment (free), many people simply do not take it seriously.
Why not? What if it were $100.00? What if it were $1,000.00; is
that more serious? How about $10,000? Now that's serious -
serious money. The quality of the service is the same, only the
dollar amount changes.
Be honest with yourself, have you ever thought, 'It's only $20,
if it works, it works, if it doesn't it doesn't.'
Many people say they will "try THIS program" for 2 or 3 months
to see "what happens!" Why bother? They should save their time
and not join. Would you open a restaurant with the intention of
"trying it" for 90-days? Don't set yourself up for failure by
quitting before you even get started.
While many people have seen great results within a few short
months, the AVERAGE FOR MOST SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE IS MORE LIKE 1-2
YEARS. In my opinion, it takes at least one-year to build a
solid foundation that you can expand upon.
For others, it can happen quicker because they are working a
few hours a day promoting their businesses. The question to ask
yourself is, "where do you plan on being in 1 or 2 years?" Lets
face it, those years will pass by if you do something or not. At
least by being involved you have the potential to build
something that could pay you for the rest of your life. Either
you can be in the same situation a year or two from now or you
could be on your way to building a solid, profitable work at
home business, with new friendships made while the companies
make you money, and provide useful products and services.
Studies have shown that most people who try network marketing
stay less than 3 months in the company. They quit because they
haven't seen a profit, and move on to the next company. What
many don't realize is that the network marketing companies
exhibit what is called compounded growth. Compound growth builds
over time folks, not in two or three months. Many members have
recruited large numbers of people into their programs. Some have
only sponsored a few, like 5-10 people. Others have sponsored
hundreds. It all compounds to build the sponsor a larger down
line and effectively set him or her up for continued success and
profits.
You need to take some risks and you need to take some initiative
to make your business grow faster.
You can succeed with some effort.
Once again, as I close, you are in business.
Your business is sponsoring new members and teaching them to do
the same.
Some members will be passive and do nothing, and some will be
active and do something. Either way, it's their choice and their
personal business. But if you take it seriously and you will see
the rewards in cash in months and years to come over and over
and over.
Here is to your continued prosperity and efforts!
