New York has every type of restaurant one can imagine. In fact, Manhattan and the other boroughs probably have more restaurants than you could visit in a lifetime. Many of the best New York City restaurants are well known and often crowded, but what about the lesser-known ones?

Chumley's may be well-known to West Village residents, but this former speakeasy is literally a hidden gem. Between the fireplace, the old wooden decor, and the comfort food, Chumley's is a winner.
