Set Up The Till
Sooner or later you are going to need to set up a way to receive
payments (hopefully sooner rather than later).
If you are setting up an online store then you will need a
shopping cart and payment processor, but when you are just
starting out you are not going to need anything that complicated.
When I first started out on the internet I set up a free PayPal
account to conduct business and I still use that same account
today. I still recommend this service.
Several years ago I upgraded my ClickBank account to become a
vendor and I still regularly use this account for sales and
payments. I would recommend using ClickBank.
I have never purchased a shopping cart program as my web host
and PayPal offer that option for free and the products I sell
simply don't require that level of service.
I would suggest taking advantage of the free options I mentioned
before investing any money in a shopping cart program.
I have from time to time experimented with other payment
processors but I resented paying a monthly fee for services I
could receive for free from PayPal and ClickBank so I have
always returned to those as my primary payment processors.
I use both regularly as each provides benefits that the other
does not and I find they work well together for me.
