Choosing the right kind of sofa

Buying new furniture in Australia I have been looking for some new so fas for my living room and i went to all the online stores first. I saw some cheap and expensive furniture and the best ones i could find were the ones that a Melbourne company sells. After several hours of searching online for a nice sofa i found one that is ideal and has enough room for the whole familty to sit on at one time. I needed a sofa that wouldnt get all covered in hairs from the dog and something that would be easy you clean so i got one with a very short pile that i chose from the color swatcher they have on the site. The thing i find ifficult about buying a sofa is that i will have it for several years and it will have to last me a few years. One difficulty i have is that i need to get something nuetral in color because my wife may want to decorate a different color and i am dambed if i am going to buy another sofa every time she decorates or even get it re-covered. I like shopping online for furniture but the problem i have is that you can`t get the full feel of the furniture until you sit in it. Getting the feel for furniture is difficult but i guess thats the price you pay for convenience.
