Monster iCarPlay - iPod FM Transmitter Review
A few months back FreshTrend
wrote an article on the Monster iCarPlay FM Transmitter hailing
it as one of the first available transmitters compatible with
the iPod Nano. Well since that time I've purchased an iCarPlay
and want to capture a few thoughts for the general public.
First off as is the case with any FM transmitter some sound
quality is going to be lost. Its a fact and if you don't have an
auxillary input in your car then a transmitter is the best
option you've got. That being said, I think the Monster iCarPlay
is a really solid choice.
Pros: 1. Charges your iPod while you listen 2. Volume is
independant of your iPod's volume setting 3. Three FM channel
settings can be stored so its easy to change stations on long
road trips 4. Compatible with iPod, iPod mini and iPod
nano
Cons: 1. When you move the iCarPlay while its playing, it
picks up some annoying static 2. Channel buttons can get bumped
easily
All in all if you're looking for a way to listen to your iPod in
your car, definitely check out Monster's iCarPlay.
