Please Don't Put Adsense by Google on Your WebSite!
I haven't seen much buzz about Google's new Adsense (and
Firefox) referral program on the affiliate marketing forums have
you? And I can tell you why. Those publishers who are getting
nice Adsense checks don't want more publishers accessing
Google's ad inventory. And you know what?
I am tempted to join them in saying:
Please Don't Put Adsense by Google on Your WebSite!
After all, why would you want to get a a google adsense account?
If you are like me, you certainly don't want to get one. Why
take advantage of google's leadership in a whole new type of
advertising. And please, please do not under any circumstances
become a Google Adsense publisher and if someone becomes an
Adsense publisher from your site, do not get paid $100 when they
reach $100 in adsense earnings! You can send the check to me if
you like!
Not bad eh?
You can implement Adsense in many ways. One of the easiest
methods is to put Adsense on your blog. You can even have google
host your blog for free, and apply for an Adsense account using
the Google hosted blog as your website! (Google requires you to
have a website before you can have an adsense account).
So once again I plead:
Don't discover the benefits of becoming a Google AdSense
publisher! After all, the ads they serve are 99.99% targeted to
your site. Your web site visitors will actually appreciate the
ads, as they will be relevant to their interests. In addition,
you will get paid! Every time someone clicks on an ad on your
site, you will recieve a portion of the revenue that the
advertiser pays google. So if you have a site about highly
sought after terms, such as debt consolidation help, health
insurance, human growth hormones, or mesothelioma, you can see
some darn nice checks from google.
The other nice thing is that they pay on time. ( Who needs
that?) And you can even get direct deposit. I think you would
have to be crazy if you have a website and you don't have google
adsense.
Oops, I let the cat out of the bag! As far as I am concerned, I
will continue to try to keep publishers from signing up for
Google AdSense from my sites! I am going to call my webhosting
company right now and have them remove the Google Adsense
referral links from all my sites!
And most of all, I want that darn Google Adsense code off of my
article sites.
Don't get targeted advertising today. You'll be better off
without Google Adsense throwing money at you!
