You will say I'm on a tight budget. Don't worry, there are several ways to promote your business on a tight budget. You must be creative. There are several ways to advertise your product and services in the internet. To get exposures you need:
1. A website to display your product and services in the internet
2. When emailing put your URL (universal resource locator or sometimes called uniform resource locator ex. http://www.webquartet.com)
3. Visit chat rooms and approach the chatters to visit your site (ex. Mirc, visit mirc.com)
4. Sign on the guestbooks and put your URL
5. Be active on message boards and put your URL on every message you make (Ex. http://www.recordname.com)
6. Be a member of a web ring (web ring is a group of websites to help each other to get more traffic...ex. http://q.webring.com/hub?ring=writerwork)
7. Banner advertising/Exhange links (banner is a graphical advertisement displayed on a website ex. is bannerexchange.com)
8. If you have a software ready to download then put it in download.com (one of the site who offers free downloads)
9. Pay per click search engines (you will pay based on the click through or hits or visits)
10. Creating an article and offer it as freebies. Put your URL and your name as author of the article. You can make it a newsletter or an eBook and make it available for download. Subscribe to other article provider and sometimes they allowed you to publish your own articles or advertise your site on their newsletter or ezines. (ex. http://www.web-source.net/syndicator_submit.htm)
11. Classifieds allows you to place ads for free or for low cost (ex. http://classifieds.yahoo.com/)
12. FFA Link is a place wherein anybody can put their site in the listings. (Free for All Link ex. Jimtools.com)
13. Joint Ventures - If you can't beat them join them. Share your products and services. (ex. cj.com)
14. Press Releases - this will bring the news of your company to the world. ex. prweb.com and virtualpromote.com)
15. Search Engines - program that has capability to search (ex. webquartet.com, google.com).
16. Tell-a-Friend program - this programs will display a form that tells them some good or bad news about your site and send it to the friend of your visitors
17. Create your own Tell-a-Friend, guestbook, affiliate program, FFA, press release website, classified ads program, article syndicator, pay per click search engine, search engine, baner advertising, messageboards and chat rooms.
The important thing on marketing your product and services on your website is your content because if you have good contents to offer then they will visit you frequently.
Search Engine submission and optimization is one the of best way to advertise your product and services in the internet. Once the site is optimized, you can see the result. Try typing "philippine recruitment agency" in Google.com and you will see our clients.
The second best for me is writing articles about your product and services and publish it to other publishers and offer to publish their articles too.It can be for free or for a very small fee. Almost ezines are free. I have several thousands of subscriber and the other publishers have thousands of subscribers too and still growing. But on this kind of advertisement you need to know if you spam them or not or if they like it or not. Remember they are all targeted readers. The results are unlimited. You must include an unsubscribe link on your site and on the articles to make them feel they are not attached and also to make them subscribe on your ezines or newsletter (articles) put some text that tells all information from subscriber is confidential and not for sale.
