Recently I accompanied my mother to a "specialist" in our area, a man who has studied the Bowen Technique for years and is quite successful with it. It's a hands-on way of making your body help itself, healing minor to major problems.
In fact, I took a first-level course about two years ago and, yes, it works.
So what does this have to do with anything?
Just this...
The power of the individual should never be discounted. Online, we tend to "bunch up" hoping that by teaming up it will increase our chances for success.
I'm personally a firm believer in affiliate programs and building downlines - we all know that given the right set of circumstances, they can be quite profitable.
But it worries me to see some individuals seeking out only these types of programs - without trying to draw upon their own inner strengths and interests.
We've all used the search engines. Type in anything, and you'll get a return - sometimes in the millions - and just about any search term or phrase gets huge results.
As you read this, do think to yourself, what do I like? What am I good at? What could I share with someone - for free or by charging for it?
Then, open any search engine and start typing in words. Check the results. Check the sites that come up. You can do this - you can create your own little "empire" online, totally independent of the affiliate programs and products you're promoting and/or selling.
Don't discount yourself - and going it alone.
Everyone has bright hopes and dreams at the beginning of every new year. If you are new to online marketing, and have yet to find "that something special," don't despair, you will - if you keep at it.
If you've been online for a while, and are making it, you're probably considering expanding a bit - venturing into newer territory to increase profits. Good for you!
Too often we tend to take the easy road. This year, draw upon those resources within yourself - the ones you've been denying. Stop telling yourself, "I don't have anything to share." Stop making excuses.
You DO have it within you!
Take your own individual power seriously!
