Everyone wants to have clean water and air. These are two very important things for human life since we are living on the surface of the Planet. As the population of throughout the world swells to over 50 Billion in our lifetime we will need to protect the water supplies to insure they remain clean and free from population and human waste.
Currently about one-third of the human populations live on less than five fresh drinkable gallons of water per day. In first world nations we have an abundance of fresh water supplies compared with some other impoverished nations. Much of the fresh water supplies in the world are at severe risk already and this could lead to more disease and more deaths as the population increases.
Clean air is also important and in many developing nations the pollution from industrialization with lax controls is causing regional pollution, which is thicker than any pollution we have ever seen in the United States. These issues will cause early death and serious disease for many people.
Lung disease, cancer and asthma in children are just a few of these problems. Dirty air can cause acid rain and polluted waters too and it is not just humans, all living animals and birds will be affected. The question in the future may not be can we survive Mother Nature, but can we survive ourselves? Think on it.
