NSA Whistleblower Explains Tactics

The so called whistle blower was explaining the tactics of the NSA on TV and said that if someone was talking to Al Queda and that someone also called many other people, then those other people they had been in contact might also be put on surveillance. Now then this brings up an interesting topic. Lets just say that some who happened to be talking to Al Queda also was talking to you? Bummer right? I mean now they are tapping your phone lines and going thru all the phones calls in all the phone records and all your emails that you have ever made that are available. Now then what if they went thru all those phone records of everyone you ever called and all the people they called to see if there was a link somewhere? Might be a good idea correct?

Sure in theory it might, however using this scenario one might also consider theories on the degrees of separation; for instance if the average person knows thirty-five hundred people and some people may know as many as 10,000 people. (I do). Then if we multiply the 10,000 times 3500 we get 35 million and if we multiply that by another 3500 then we get everyone on the Planet.
