Many who are observing the aftermath after we won the War in Iraq and are now there preparing the country for democracy see a slow process. Defeating the criminal element, International Terrorists and nation state sponsored anti-American insurgents is not an easy thing to over come, but progress is being made.

Recently in a coffee shop conversation I was conversing with a gentleman named Steve. Steve is a Democrat and considers himself a hard core liberal and as we got into the conversation I was pretty sure, that nothing I would say would change his views and nothing he would say would change my 40 years of observations in the real world.
