As we watch our President field questions in talks with the American People, it is quite evident how he got to be President in the first place. He is personable, real and does not come off as a politician podium pusher. Recently at a speech, with question and answer period at the University of Kansas President Bush was in top form and spoke with the people not at them. He was funny at times and serious at others. He fielded all the questions, dodging none. Very powerful message to the American people watching at home in their living rooms, a lot more powerful than the cave dweller Osama bin Laden.
Surely his critics must really hate it when he reverts back to his natural self, as his true spirit shows thru; a real person and a President who really cares. Some of the critics in the Kansas visit were indeed hostile, biting and asked lecture type questions. Questions he did not attempt to get out of. Questions on tough issues, such as Iran and nuclear weapons and guest workers and illegal aliens from Mexico, as well as trade deficits with China and the most controversial NSA phone call surveillance. Indeed there were questions about Human Rights in the Sudan and Nigerian issues with international terrorists threats on oil supply. Even the war in Iraq and the commitment to solve the problems with Social Security were discussed.
What is interesting about all this is when you listen to the critics in the media and read some of the articles of critics of the President
