Some people say that there are just many jobs that US citizens do not wish to do. I agree, there are many jobs that US Citizens do not wish to do, especially when unemployment is so low; under 5%. Can you think of industries that our own populations are not interested in doing? I sure can, but the car wash industry is not one of them.

You see I have been in the vehicle washing industry some 27 years and we never hired illegal aliens. So I think it is just baloney when car wash owners claim they are an industry which must hire illegal aliens to run their businesses other wise they would have no labor at all to wash all the cars.

This is just a silly and bogus notion, as the truth is that the car wash owner is actually exploiting the lowest end worker to make more profit. You do not see them paying the same amount of money they would to a college student working at the car wash or even providing benefits that they might to other employees. It is greed and exploitation of people pure and simple.

Indeed there may very well be many jobs that Americans will not do, but let me tell you car washing is not one of them and we should not let car wash owners slide on their responsibility to follow the law. Hiring illegal aliens is illegal and we cannot allow them to get away with this. Consider this in 2006.
