One of the main reason why someone will become very unhappy because he/she sees no sign of progress in his/her life because he/she decides to stop growing and learning.
Most people would rather spend most of their money to buy clothes, food, perfume, cars and toys rather than buying educational CDs, books, and videos that will give them wisdom and understanding that will help them to bring more success in their life.
It is wrong to think that learning process ends when you finish college or high school, because learning process must continue until the day we die.
When you see someoen who is very uphappy and depressed because he/she has no clear direction of where to go next in his/her life, he or she has no goal, he or she has no hope for a better future and if h or /she continues the attitude of laziness, his or her life will get worse instead of better.
An employee can get promoted in the business where he/she works because he/she is willing to improve his/her self and to get more skills and knowledge. The unhappy employees are lazy, resentful and they complain too much instead of trying to improve their work performance through learning, studying and growing.
A struggling business owner can improve his/her own business by learning more on how to improve and make their business more successful instead of sitting around doing nothing or complaining. Sitting around and day dreaming will bring no change or improvement!
King Solomon says in the book of Proverb, when you are lazy and you love sleep more than work, poverty will come to your life. You will be poor and unhappy when you are lazy and refuse to invest knowledge and information into your mind.
So the secret of your success is your willingness to invest wisdom, knowledge and understanding into your mind! Also, your willingness to sow your skills and knowledge to bring solutions.
Can you imagine if you get into an accident today, injure your head and your ability to write, speak and read is gone from your brain? I don't think, you can keep your present job if you no longer can read, write and speak.
I encourage you to invest as much knowledge, wisdom and information into your mind while your mind and brain are still functioning. Remember, the pain of discipline is temporary and the pain of regret is enternal.
