There are many kinds of Anniversary Flowers in use today and each kind is designated to a specific year and has a different meaning.

Iris's are for wisdom, faith and hope. Sweet Pea's for lasting or blissful pleasure. Nasturtiums interestingly are for victory and conquest, most likely a conquest over the troubles that naturally occur in marriage over the years. Violets symbolize modesty and faithfulness.
