Back when I was going through my ebay addiction (ha! ha!) I was selling everything in my house I could get my hands on.
Boxes, postage, tape, and other items necessary for shipping were everywhere.
I would stay up for hours on end watching, bidding, listing. It was an absolute obsession.
I started noticing that some of the mega-sellers or power sellers were listing some of the same items. Comforter sets, cameras, unique antique pieces were all hot commodities. However, the prices for the exact same merchandise were extremely different.
Where were these people getting this stuff from?
After much observation, I realized that these people weren't going through the painstaking tasks I was subjecting myself to.Their bedrooms and dens weren't saturated with boxes piled sky high. Their local post master didn't cringe when she saw them walking through the door with 20 to 30 items that needed address labels and that horribly sticky mailing tape.
They were using dropshippers!
A dropshipping company makes your life as an online seller pain-free. After you make a purchase, the company simply ships the product to whatever address you specify.
What's even better is that you pay a much smaller fee for the product and mark the price up to whatever you feel is both economical and profitable.
Knowing which dropshippers to use and making sure they offer quality products is the tricky part. You see, in order to capitalize on a certain market, you must make sure the items you're selling are affordable, desirable and unique.
Research many different dropshipping companies before you decide which is best for you. Read the fine print. There are many companies that only provide you with a dropshipping directory. This, of course, is not free and you're still stuck with having to pay the dropshipping company you decide to do business with.
If you're anything like I was and have grown weary of the frequent trips to Fedex or your local post office try benefiting from dropshipping. It's definitely worth looking into.
