Tropical Hurricane Leslie

Well it looks like Leslie is looking better and better each day and she is developing very nicely. She went from a tropical depression to a tropical storm in no time. It looks as if her eye wall is strengthening in she should become a very well-defined young lady and she reaches category one hurricane status.

This of course is from a meteorology standpoint, but from a consumer standpoint, or rather been all the receiving end of the landfall of hurricane Leslie, she doesn't look all that great to me. You're welcome to her. Just don't bring her back when you're through.

After looking at the data from the NOAA and the NASA satellites it appears that Leslie might be quite the wicked little vixen indeed. But that will soon be determined by the hurricane hunters, which will be checking out how powerful hurricane Leslie really is. The national hurricane center in Miami is concerned with hurricane Leslie and well, they should be.

This has been quite a strong Atlantic hurricane season. Although not quite as bad as the record-breaking 2005 Atlantic tropical hurricane season, this 2006 hurricane season ranks up there with some of the strongest hurricane seasons on record.

For those in the path of the landfall of hurricane Leslie you would be well advised to secure your home, prepare your family and listened to authorities in case mandatory evacuations are necessary. Consider all this in 2006.
