Changing Color of Robotic Insect Swarms In-Flight

In the future the military will have new secret weapons into one of these weapons might be robotic insect swarms to attack the enemy. We all know in warfare that the element of surprise is preferred even over the size of the force. You see the element of surprise has a huge advantage for the offensive team. If your enemy is not expecting robotic insect swarms to swoop upon their troop movements within it makes sense to use them. If your enemy may suspect that you might use robotic insect swarms to kill them, then they will be on the lookout for these robotic insect swarms.

I propose we need a way to camouflage these robotic insect swarms so that they can get very close to the enemy before the enemy either realizes they are there. But how do you change the color of the robotic insect swarms when there might be thousands of little tiny bugs size units all flying together? Well I have an idea;

You see I have considered instant color changes for MEMS enabled robotic insect swarms. Spray into the air, launch the units and fly thru the mist. No problem too, if you have ever worked with a pressure washer on a cool night or very hot day and watched the water vapor. Create a fog bank and fly thru. This would enable you to change the color of your insect swarms in case you wanted to attack over the desert where everything was a sandy color or if you wish to attack your enemy in the jungle you would want to use a green color to blend into the surrounding scenery. Consider this in 2006.
