The man went to work that morning. As soon as he walked in the door he heard someone comment on something bad. The person continued with the negative and said that the negative would really happen to them at work.
There were other people listening but none of them agreed with him. They spoke to each other. They started bringing up the positive that was happening when the negative storyteller came rushing through the doorway yelling, "See, I told you!"
They all stopped working for a minute and started praying.
Then one man turned and walked over to the negative storyteller.
"What are you doing?", the man asked.
"Just telling you guys what would happen. And I was right," the happy looking negative storyteller gloated.
The man shook his head slowly while he said, "Do you realize that many years ago someone already said that would happen too?"
"What do you mean?"
The man took a deep breath and said, "Well, don't you know that this world was made by someone that did just that? He said that which could not be seen as if is already could be. And then it was." He smiled at the other man.
The one that had been the negative storyteller seemed to really be thinking that one through.
The man started again, "This is explained more in Romans 4:17. Look it up and if you have any questions let me know..."
The now more curious, previously negative storyteller said, "So you can do that too?"
The man, knowing that there were more details then coud be be explained right then, just told him, "Yes, it's all in the Bible. Don't miss it. Read it. It's God's contract for you. Choose God!. He always gives good! Always. And I'm sure that you want the good not the bad..." The man smiled.
The men both went back to work. The now more positive storyteller had decided that he would find out more about how this world was created. He decided to see how this affected his own words by reading his Bible when he got home...
