If you have comprehensive automobile insurance coverage, you are probably covered for broken windshields and other glass problems that can occur. This type of coverage generally takes care of any physical damage you your vehicle caused by incidences that do not involve another vehicle. It is optional coverage in most states and may or may not be worth having depending on how much your car is worth.
