The topic for this month could have been global warming, however, I believe everybody by now should know that the reason the earth is heating up is because there truly appears to be a lake of hell fire in the center of the earth. Why Are Our Military Soldiers Murdering Civilians?

Julian Barnes a Pentagon correspondent for the Los Angeles Time stated on C-SPAN that American military soldiers shot and killed Iraqi civilians in Haditha, Iraq in retaliation for the murder of one of their comrades. Now my question is as follows. Have America created more men who are now acting like Saddam Husayn? Have we gotten rid of one and created thousands of men and women who have taken on the same murderous spirit? Well I believe thanks to President George W. Bush we have created more Saddam Husayns. Where is the power of oversight by Congress?

America you see when we as a nation allow our political leaders to run freely and unchecked to destroy other leaders of small nations just to gain control over their valuable resources we become a nation of shame to the rest of the world just like Iraq did under Saddam Husayn. Even though we still believe that we are the most powerful nation on the planet we are unable to bring peace to our own nation. Since the preemptive strike on Iraq we have lost family members to the war. We have lost our Constitutional Rights, which includes individual privacy, the freedom to fly anywhere on the planet without being treated like a terrorist.
