The Wizard of Menlo Park Started the Electronics Products
Movement.
One person in history is recognized as a great inventor
utilizing the power of electricity. Thomas Edison was often
called the Wizard of Menlo Park. His inventions created a new
life style that included time saving and day lengthening
electronics products. Today we wonder how we could live without
electricity and the many wonderful electronics products used in
our homes, during our daily activities and at work.
How much fun could the great Wizard of Menlo Park have on
Christmas morning opening all of the gifts that are run on state
of the art micro electronics?
Imagine Thomas Edison opening a personal observation system.
If that wouldn't cause him to tilt his head in amazement maybe a
few electronics for the car like: * Radar Detectors * Security
Systems * Subwoofers * Car Stereos
He would most definitely get excited about electronics like: *
Cordless Telephones * Karaoke Machines * Weather Radios *
Electronic Telescopes * Metal Detectors * PDA's. * MP3 Players *
Digital Cameras * DVD Players
Could he find a need for home electronics like: * Air
Humidifiers * Portable Televisions * CB Radios * Global
Positioning Systems * Computer Consoles * Computer Accessories?
And you might see him even shake his head over electronics like:
* Video Game Accessories * DJ Equipment. and so many more that
Edison would probably look at video games as a waste of time.
One thing is for sure, times have changed since the great
inventor started the electronics movement. Edison was known for
working 18-20 hours a day before electricity. He was always
getting the most of his day while; if he was alive today, no
doubt he would have a difficult time sleeping with so many
opportunities provided by electronics like computers which have
multiplied discoveries all from the invention of electronics.
