How To Make A Scrapbook Gift Basket
Trying to find that extra special gift for the scrapbooking
enthusiast? Sometimes, it can be difficult to decide what to
give someone who enjoys their hobby so much. What about making a
gift basket full of all the scrapbook tools and accessories they
could use! Here are some ideas to get you started. Make sure
that all scrapbook items you purchase are acid and lignin free.
Try deciding on a theme when purchasing items for the basket. Is
there a particular event that will be happening soon that the
gift receipt might want a scrapbook for? Events like a baby
shower, new baby, birthday, holidays, and vacations are all
great themes to build a gift basket around. Then, choose items
for that particular theme. For instance, a baby scrapbook theme
would have all the elements to use for baby such as baby related
stamps and stickers, and colorful baby themed papers and
embellishments. Other themes could revolve around the holidays
like a Christmas themed basket with Christmas papers, holiday
stickers, and Christmas theme stamps. This can also help in
choosing the color and style of albums to be placed in the
basket.
Basic items to be put in the basket include an 8 x 8 scrapbook
album, an assortment of cardstock and patterned paper, set of
lettering rub-ons, an adhesive pen, some glue dots, and an
assortment of embellishments. Include at least one scrapbooking
idea book or magazine too! Try to include some of the newest
products available like the latest embellishments or scrapbook
lettering or even a new template set.
For the "basket" part try to find something scrapbook related to
collect all the items in. You could use an archival quality
photo box and then wrap it with cellophane and put a large bow
on top. What about trying one of the smaller scrapbooking
organizers or totes, placing all the items neatly inside, and
then wrapping with cellophane? The choices are limitless when
making a customized scrapbooking gift basket that any
scrapbooking enthusiast will enjoy.
