Working at Home is a MYTH!
Tell that to me and my wife and we'll laugh at you. We've been
working at home for the past nine years now.
So what, exactly, does that mean to you? Well, it should alert
you to the fact that there are people out there who are doing it
every day. Normal people like you and me.
It's a common myth that you need to be a superstar or rocket
scientist to work at home. I'd venture a guess to say that the
majority of the people out there working at home are neither. In
fact, they are your normal, average, everyday type of people.
You see, what matters most is not that you are super
intelligent. It's more important to develop a system and follow
that system day in and day out. If you think that you can't
create a system, you're welcome to follow on the footsteps of
thousands who have gone before you.
Most importantly, however, is the need to perservere. No, I
don't mean in that blind lemming fashion where you keep trudging
forward until you fall off the cliff to your death. I mean
perservere and adjust when necessary.
Learn from your mistakes as well as the mistakes of others. Yes,
yes, yes, I know some of these words sound trite but I am
sincere in what I'm saying.
You can work at home --- you just need a plan on how to get to
that point. Determine where you're at and what you need to get
to the point where you can work at home full time. Then
backtrack from there to get to where you want to be.
Let's face it, there are plenty of people who will tell you that
working at home is a MYTH. You, however, will be legendary in
their eyes when you're walk into your home office with a cup of
coffee while they are still stuck in traffic. All because you
made a plan and had the perserverance to stick it out.
