Do You Know The Similarities Between Highland Park And Poplar
Creek Courses?
Although Highland Park is a very old golf course compared to the
very modern Poplar Creek, a recent restoration of the former by
a leading architect has brought about more similarities to add
to the already existing extraordinarily beautiful landscapes
that the two have always enjoyed.
Highland Park is no

even go as far as saying that it has the characteristics of a
championship style golf course. It also makes good use of superb
bent grass greens and the beautiful landscape and view of
downtown Birmingham.

especially for groups and organizations. This is a course
consisting of beautiful, large undulating greens with rolling
fairways lined by almost a thousand mature trees. The course
also boasts of 5 rock edge lakes complete with two waterfalls
and streams.
This golf course has a new 12,000 square foot clubhouse that
includes a Pro shop, Restaurant and bar as well as banquet

special event or function. What enhances the whole experience is
the fact that the clubhouse is built with an all glass fa
